These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by Harrington & Sons Roofing, Inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By requesting services, signing an estimate or agreement, making payment, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Estimates, Scope of Work, and Change Orders

Any estimate is based on the information available at the time of inspection and may change if additional conditions are discovered once work begins. The scope of work will be defined in the written estimate, proposal, or agreement. Any work outside the scope requires a written change order, which may adjust pricing and schedule.

2. Scheduling, Access, and Site Conditions

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property, including access to electrical service, water (if needed), and a suitable staging area. You are responsible for removing or protecting fragile items and valuables. Weather and material availability may affect scheduling.

3. Permits and Approvals

Where required, permits will be obtained in accordance with the agreed scope. You agree to cooperate in providing documents or signatures needed for permitting, HOA/COA approvals, inspections, or utility coordination. Permit fees and third-party fees may be included in the estimate or billed separately as stated in your agreement.

4. Payments, Deposits, and Non-Payment

Payment terms will be stated in your written agreement or invoice. Deposits may be required. Late or non-payment may result in work stoppage, collection activity, and additional fees as permitted by law. You are responsible for any bank/processor fees associated with chargebacks or returned payments.

5. Insurance Claims

If work relates to an insurance claim, you remain responsible for payment under the agreement. Insurance proceeds, supplements, recoverable depreciation, and deductible amounts are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Warranties

Manufacturer warranties (if applicable) are subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Company workmanship warranties, if offered, will be described in your agreement and may be contingent on timely payment and proper roof maintenance. Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by acts of God, third parties, abuse, neglect, or improper modifications.

7. Cancellations

Cancellation terms, including any restocking, mobilization, or administrative fees, will be stated in your agreement. If materials have been ordered or permits have been submitted, applicable costs may be non-refundable as allowed by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the amount paid to the Company for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

9. Photos, Video, and Marketing

We may take photos or video of the work area for documentation, quality control, and warranty purposes. We will not publish identifying customer information. If you prefer we do not use project images for marketing, you may request an opt-out in writing.

10. Communications Consent

By providing your phone number and email address, you consent to receive service-related communications (including SMS and email) regarding scheduling, project updates, billing, and customer support. Promotional messages, if any, will be sent only as permitted by law and you may opt out at any time.

11. Website Use

Website content is provided for general information and may change without notice. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with site operations.

12. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Florida, unless otherwise required by law.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
